The editing and writing staff here at Midnight Publishing loves fall just as much as you: we can actually open our windows, everything is pumpkin spice-flavored, scarves and boots are unearthed from our closets, and there are a lot of events for writers and authors taking place around Phoenix, Arizona in fall of this year.
Midnight Publishing is an editing, writing, and marketing company based out of Phoenix, with our main goal being to enable our clients to put their best book forward; whether it be copyediting, a substantive and developmental edit, a final proofread before publication or query, a self-publishing consultation and more, our award-winning staff has over seven years of experience in the writing and publishing industry.
With this much experience, every member of our writer staff knows how important it is to better your craft and maintain your passion for it by becoming involved in your local writing community. That’s why we make it a point to share with our Phoenix clients the various events scheduled throughout this season, so that you can meet some fellow authors, maybe get a book or two signed by best-selling local authors, and keep working on that novel (National Novel Writing Month is also just around the corner!). Here are some of our favorite events for writers scheduled for October of this year:
1. The Heart of it All: Telling Your Story
Saturday October 8, 2016: 2:00 to 3:30 p.m.
Hosted by the Arizona Authors Association, this workshop focuses on how you can use words, music, and imagery to tell your story and inspire authors. It’s held at the Pima County Public Library in Tucson and is led by Nancy Elliot, a local musician and storyteller. Find more info here.
